CARRIE BEAIRD, M.A., LPC-S, LCDC
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Carrie Beaird, M.A. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and additionally she is a trained mediator. Carrie has worked with the courts in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Rockwall and Hunt counties. She has provided services in the areas of Parent Facilitation, Cooperative Parenting Education and Coordination, therapy for individuals and families and Substance Abuse Evaluations for the courts.
Carrie is a member of Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, North Texas Fit, American Counseling Association, the Texas Counseling Association, Family Law Foundation, and Family Law Section of the State Board of Texas.
Carrie has a Bachelors Degree from Baylor in Secondary Education with a major in communication and a minor in sociology. She also has a Masters degree in Education from Southwestern Seminary and a Masters degree in Counseling from Amberton University.
Carrie has extensive experience dealing with divorce issues, parenting and families.
She also has a background in dealing with addictions, recovery issues, adolescents, young adults and families. Before opening her private practice, Carrie worked on the campuses of University of Texas, Texas A& M Commerce and Texas Women’s University. She did her practicum training at Richardson ISD and internship at Green Oaks Hospital where she served as the clinical coordinator for Adolescent CD Intensive Outpatient Program.
